On the contrary, it can be assumed that the introduction and establishment of new technologies will accelerate exponentially in the coming years. The data produced worldwide will double approximately every two years. In addition, these are increasingly beeing recorded and generated by devices. Against this backdrop, the NextGenTec portfolio selects the companies with the highest revenue growth and invests in the shares of these companies that have the strongest momentum.

Investment strategy

The NextGenTec portfolio only selects companies with high revenue growth. Strong revenue growth is an indicator that a company is able to convince customers and gain market share. This in turn shows that the company is implementing an effective and successful business strategy. Revenue growth must be at least 20 percent.

Shares with high momentum are weighted most heavily.

Investors analyze the shares on an ongoing basis. Their assessment of a company is therefore constantly reflected in the current share price. A strongly rising share price is an indication that investors are convinced by the company and its management. A scoring system is used which takes absolute and relative momentum into account.

Risk management

The potential in the area of next generation technology is enormous. The strategy therefore aims to be 100% invested at all times. We assume that the NextGenTec portfolio will fluctuate more than average in certain market phases. However, we want to accept this volatility in order not to miss out on the promising upside potential. As soon as a stock no longer meets our minimum momentum criteria, it is sold. If a company is no longer able to achieve revenue growth of at least 20 percent, it is excluded from the investment universe.
